Mark the letter “CONFIDENTIAL” if you do not want your letter shared with the offender or his/her attorney.To ensure the letter is processed correctly and timely, put the offender’s name, his or her CDC number, and the proceeding date on the letter. Submit your written statement three weeks before the proceeding to ensure it is considered.
